PROFESSIONAL ADVOCACY
Representation by a strong state-wide leadership organization that protects the basketball coaching profession’s best interest, your best interests, and strives for the highest possible professional standards, as outlined in its Constitution and By-laws.
NJBCA DISCOUNTS
Active members receive reduced rates for NJBCA events and coaches’ clinics including the annual Jersey Live Showcase.
A VOICE & SEAT AT THE TABLE
NJBCA membership provides new contacts, a line of communication, and a forum for the exchange of ideas and information within the profession. Members can become involved in the rules and/or rule changes, and express concerns through the National High School Basketball Coaches Association.
CROSS-MEMBERSHIP
NJBCA members also receive benefits and privileges of the National High School Basketball Coaches Association (NHSBCA). Active members, through the association, become a part of the NJSIAA, especially with regard to basketball in New Jersey.
HONORS & RECOGNITION
NJBCA Membership includes the benefit of being eligible for Coaching Honors and the opportunity for your players being considered for post-season recognition
NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES
Meet and get to know fellow New Jersey high school basketball coaches, work cooperatively to set up scrimmages and/or games though school ADs, share coaching resources and explore mentoring opportunities.
MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
The NJBCA Coach Mentoring Program is designed to foster collaboration, professional growth, and lasting connections among basketball coaches. Through this program, coaches come together to share ideas, build meaningful relationships, and learn from the experiences of veteran mentors.
